Challenges

We developed this system to specifically suit the Hotel event business. Christmas Parties in particular are not a straightforward sell. The following issues had to be built into the system:

• Allow for deposits to be taken

• Allow for updating of bookings once payment is received
• Provide the hotel with the freedom to change prices for larger groups
• Develop a waiting list function
• Include any special requests as part of the booking
• Provide a simple reporting tool to allow the events team to provide key information to their operations department who prepare the function room
