The Manhattan Hotel Rotterdam is the Dutch City's only 5 star hotel. As a new hotel going through a name changeover it was important for the hotel to alert existing customers of their name change and also to use the opportunity to expand into new customer markets. We liased with the management team to develop an online marketing strategy that would both facilitate this transitional period and give the hotel a solid foundation for their future online marketing endeavours.

Since becoming independent, and reflagging from one of the major hotel brands, e-commerce is at the very top of our list of priorities. This is because the web is really the only distribution channel that we can wield any direct and immediate influence over. We actively and constantly use search engine optimization to ensure that our website achieves as high a level of visibility as possible and use analytics tools to assess our performance relative to ranking, visitor engagement and conversions.
