We’re excited to announce a major upgrade to Visrez Floor Plan Builder: the release of our new 3D Furniture Editor. This is a significant step forward, giving all users the ability to create, customise and save their own furniture sets directly to their collections—without needing to request custom furniture from our production team. Whether you’re creating banquet, classroom, boardroom or other table configurations, you can now use Visrez library assets to create furniture in the size, colour, finish, table covering and textures you want. Once created, each custom furniture object saves to the client collection and can be used by all team members on the account. This means one person can create all the furniture at the venue allowing your team, partners and clients to access in Visrez.

Create Furniture in Real Time, Saving Straight to the Collection

We had long known that furniture was a bottleneck in our workflow: clients had to request custom furniture and wait for our production team to create it. While we were happy to provide the furniture and it helped to grow the library to wel over 10k objects, users wanted more control and the ability to make their own furniture directly within the platform. The new 3D Furniture Editor puts that flexibility in your hands, allowing you to create and customise furniture independently, without input from our team.

Future Floor Plan Builder Enhancements

Alongside the new Furniture Editor, we’re also releasing an updated version of our table numbering and guest list features, making it easier than ever to organise and manage event plans. We’d like to thank all our users for their patience, feedback and continued support throughout the year. We recognised that the ability to create custom furniture in different sizes, styles and finishes was a long-overdue addition to Visrez Floor Plan Builder. We’re delighted to remove this limitation and give our users greater creative freedom and control over their designs. Our team is really excited to see what users create with this great new feature which will be extended to other categories, including screens, stages and trusses. We’ve also made it easier to explore the Visrez library directly within the builder, adding images to each category so users can find the assets they need more quickly and easily. We anticipate that this new feature release will make a significant impact on the overall usability and performance of Visrez for the thousands of users of the platform.
